Home Is Waiting. The Door Is Open.

This is not a beginning. It is a rightful continuation. The Institution of the Patron welcomes Ethiopia’s Adoptees into the story that was always theirs.

Over the past several decades, thousands of Ethiopian children have been adopted abroad, growing up far from the land of their birth. For many of these adoptees, a profound and inevitable question arises: Who am I, and where do I truly belong? This search for identity is not just personal—it is a journey toward restoration and homecoming.

The Institution of the Patron answers this call with compassion and purpose. Recognizing the deep need for connection, the Institution provides a secure and structured process for Ethiopian adoptees to reunify with their history, their families, and their homeland. Through a network of traditional leadership that spans every region and corner of Ethiopia, the Institution guides each individual with care, dignity, and respect.

This is more than a reunion; it is the restoration of identity and the reaffirmation of belonging. The Institution of the Patron stands as a steadfast guardian and bridge—ensuring that every adoptee feels welcomed, valued, and at home in Ethiopia once again.
