May 5th - Victory Day

May 5th is marked in Ethiopia as Victory Day or Patriots Day. It is the day that celebrates the liberation from 5 years of brutal Italian fascist occupation. It marks the return of Emperor Haile Selassie to his capital Addis Ababa, exactly 5 years to the day after the forces of Benito Mussolini had occupied it. This Video is a celebration of that day.
